So I downloaded, compiled, and installed StreamRipper. I configured it to download Housemusique, and asked it to set up a relay server so that I can then connect to it with audacious... nice work around...

So out of all the mp3 players out there... guess which one HANGs when trying to listen to the relay server. YUP audacious... what a piece of shit software... really.

iTunes, works, Xmms, works, Mplayer, works, winamp works, madplay (based on libmad which audacious uses works! [I used "curl http://localhost:8001 | madplay -"])

What sucks is that they are totally not even trying to do anything about it.
