- Stop your Websense Services (Policy Server last)
- Browse to Websense\bin and make a backup of your config.xml file. Place it somewhere safe.
- Now delete the config.xml.bak and the journal.dat.
- Edit your config.xml file, and remove the following:
- Find, data name = "k2097153", and delete its contents
- Start your Policy Server and then the remainder of your Websense services.
- Open the Manager and you should be prompted for a new password.
