First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Second off, I think this has been one of the best holiday seasons I have ever had. I don't think I've written much of it down (... at least not in a non-volitile format... as I quickly found out when I panicked after I couldn't find my Mental-Notebook for this season/year ... I found it later).

So my New Years was spent in NYC (for the first time since New Years of '97). Three friends of mine from South Philly (Kim, Chris, and Joe) and Brad and I loaded up on beers, rum, various munchies, and they went to Whole Foods for the food tray to bring to Jen...

I HAVE TO PUT THIS OUT THERE. I AM AGAINST WHOLE FOODS (PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS FRESH FIELDS) BECAUSE THEY PRACTICE WALMART-UNION-BUSTING TECHNIQUES AND THEY ARE RANKED AS AMONG THE WORST ENVIRONMENTS FOR THE GLBT COMMUNITY. What really pisses me off about this, is that I saw Whole Foods as a decent alternative to the chemical and junk food infested supermarkets... an oasis in the middle of a McDonaldized world... man do we have a long way to go yet as a community...
